Teenage (Minah Kental) Years...

First of all, Suraini Abdul Kadir, thank you for your email. I am sorry to take this long to reply your email as well as to say thank you. Maaflah yer, Akak bz bangettt :). To another friend of mine, Idah Yusnitah, thank you for your sms. Sorry for not replying, I am a lil bit old school, never reply any sms coz I take 10 mins just to type 1 sentence. Hope you understand eh.

Ok here are some pictures of me and some of our friends. I am not trying to ridicule anybody here so please do not be so sensitive. As you know I had ridiculed myself in the previous entry and here are more of myself to be ridiculed. My kids are already laughing tergolek-golek ok. They said.."Mummy obit seyy"..(bertuah punya anak).

Starting with this group picture

This pic was taken during my 15th Birthday. Had a hell of a good time when your parents were not at home. Well nothing kinky happened, naaah..we were just a bunch of nerds. Don't you think so guys? Im sorry but I cant remember the names of those two guys. Anyone can remember what is their name?

Asri : He was one of our junior. Why was he there? Hehe..He was a lil bit head-over-heels over me. I knew everybody were gossiping about me dating him, a younger guys but who cares!..Org pun tak kisah right coz he tak hensem sgt punnn..

Hishal : Did you notice that he and erma sit side by side? They were one great enemies. Erma ever threw his bag out of the window coz he just lovesss to irritates her. He was your secret admirer agaknyer Erma?

Nonie : She is the MC queen and the Sleeping Queen. Appeared only 3 days in a week. Even if she appeared, she would be sleeping through out the day. Pssst..remember her love bites? A string of them....fuyoooohhh..tak boleh tahan woooo..

Ok here are the Golden Girls..cheehhh. Siti, the popular girl in school, same goes to Kartina, they were the hottest girls back then. Erma, sorry to post this pic, but you look slim in here. Junainie, one quite girl in class, Me..ermm..the kecoh and clumsy but still try to act cool and then Afiza, Junainie's partner. Suara both of them mcm semut ok. Sooo soft..

Ok the reason why I post this picture is because, this is the only pic where JOHAN is in it. Don't you all missed him? I missed his nonsense ok.

Here is Azrul and Marlina (Burung). Sorry Marlina but that was your nickname back then. Originated from your hair yg nak buat Ding Dong tapi tak jadi and turned out to be like burung merak jambul. Azrul, was one of the hottest guy in school. Admired him in silence but once i got to know him for few months..sorry Azrul, kau nie betul2 mat kental buah lenchee ar. Tak boleh angkat ar gua! Mat metal kapak giller ar lu!

Something About Me

I guess all of you would know me when the name "Kasma" was being mentioned. I go by that name among my schoolmates. Changed to "Wati" (nama minah glamour) when I stepped into my working life coz as you know all these Cina doesn't know how to pronounce my name properly therefore Wati would be easier. My name could turned out to be in so many versions ok... Kuama lah, Kaswati lah and the worst was Kasmati!! Can you imagine that. Once when I was in Sec 2, Mdm Loh Ai, my form teacher called me.."KASMATI! PLEASE READ THE 2ND PARAGRAPH". Everybody laughed. Since then, my name has become the joke of the town. Whatever it is, this name has made me gone through more than a quarter of my life.

Oklah, as promised, Ive dug out some retro pics of mine. Ive got some of yours too. So..tunggggguuuuuuu. Therefore before I could laugh at other's pic, to be fair..I let all of you ketawa terbahak-bahak and tergolek-golek with my pics. Jgn sampai jatuh kerusi sudah. Ok I will start with my baby pics. It may not be so clear as I dont have a scanner and what I did was captured the pictures with my digital cam. Well Enjoy!!

The one next to me is Rashidah,a homemaker with 2 kids. Beside her is Norwedad, minah dutch mix pakistan, I heard shes a model now followed by Sharifuddin, my boyfriend at that time..hehe. Saw him last year..damn he looked sooo good. He is also a mix of mat salleh ok. The row below from the left is Huzaimah, shes a NUS scholar. Beside her is Widya Iryani, as mentioned shes married and resided in New York now, and then followed by Yuwana, married with 6 childrens..wooo, I salute you Ana. I cant even handle 2. And next is Mariana, shes our senior and I dont know anything about her..hehe

Welcome Friends

Welcome to this humble and simple created Blog. You may have received my sms this morning. Sorry to have disturb you on this Monday morning. This may be a simple blog but it may means a lot to some of us. To get in touch again with those we have lost touch. We must always touch each other ok!(ermm..raba-raba pun boleh jugak!). To get that friendship goes on.

This blog maybe a tool for us to update each other, for announcement eg. yang nak kawin ke (i presume most of us are married) or anak nak kawin ke (i hv one son and daughter, anybody want to me besan?), nak beranak ke or dah beranak ke, cukur rambut ke or cukur...err...anythinglah, nak cerita pasal kucing also can. (Minah mode aku dah ON). Whatever it is, as long as we know you are still around somewhere in this part of the world.

I would try to post and describe about those whom I can still remember..jeng, jeng, jeng (tunggu korang, aku describe one by one) . Will try to remember those vague memories of ours. Those fun and weird moments. The best part, I will try to get those retro pics of you and of coz me lah. Wld appreciate if you could forward me any pics if u hv any. Not to humiliate anybody but to flash back our memories of those times.

Su's Surprise Email

I was awakened by an email received on last Friday while i was buried with the tonnes of work in the office. As usual, I would ignore those SPAM emails sent by any unknown sender. However at that moment it was exceptional, the subject caught my attention. "Former Corporation Primary School?" I read her brief message. She was looking for her former schoolmates and remembered she had a classmate name Kasmawati and therefore Googled my name. My name appeared in my Company's Website and she signed off with the name Su-Ling.

Tried very hard to remember but couldn't find anybody by the name of Su-Ling in my brain database. Tried again to retrieved but FAILED. Emailed her back with mixed feelings. Afraid she could be one of those impostors. Told her that she was right, I was from the school she mentioned but never had any classmate by the name of Su-Ling. In few minutes she replied feeling so ecstatic that i was her classmates. Described me as a petite girl with wavy hair (ooh yeah with dark skin looking so anak keling..hehe). Then she mentioned her name was Suriyati Samat. Now i remembered her. One quiet petite, chinese looking girl sitting in front of the teacher's desk.

I felt so touched that she could still remember my name. Well, Kasmawati sounds very 60's but its quite unique. Not many has that name. Therefore its easy to remember i guess. Since then we exchange emails updating each other about our lives.

This has inspired me to create a blog to get in touch with my former classmate. We had spent years together. To get together physically may be quite difficult due to some commitments so how about getting together through blogging? Hope i could get a positive response from everybody. Planning to create a database for collating contacts and particulars of everybody. Will post it up once it is ready. For now, i am waiting for your reply.
